The creation of an international World Council on Gaza, aimed at resolving the conflict and enhancing stability in the region, was the subject of a recent address by U.S. President Donald Trump to the leaders of several countries, inviting them to join the new initiative.

Among the first to receive the invitation was the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He has already responded that Tashkent is ready to become one of the founding members of the World Council.

A similar invitation was also sent to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. According to his press secretary, Ruslan Zheldibay, Tokayev expressed gratitude and confirmed his desire to participate in the new organization.

Russian President Vladimir Putin also received an invitation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported that the documents were transmitted through diplomatic channels and are currently under review, while the Russian side hopes for further clarifications from the U.S. regarding this initiative.

Additionally, Trump reached out to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko with an offer to join the World Council. The Belarusian Foreign Ministry confirmed a positive response and the country’s readiness to participate in the activities of this international structure.

According to information from Bloomberg, the U.S. administration had previously considered the possibility of financial contributions from states seeking a permanent seat on the World Council, including a minimum contribution of one billion dollars. However, the details of the participation conditions, including financial obligations, have not yet been officially disclosed.
