The accident occurred around 10:20 AM when the bus was heading to Antalya and lost control at one of the interchanges. At the time of the incident, there were 34 people on the bus. According to preliminary data from local authorities, the road was slippery due to rain, and thick fog exacerbated the situation. Speeding is recommended to be considered as one of the possible causes of the incident.
The injured were taken to several medical facilities, and some of them are in critical condition. Information about the nationality of the passengers has not yet been disclosed, so it remains unclear whether there were any foreigners among them.
