YouTube has begun removing low-quality content that was created using artificial intelligence technologies.
According to The Verge, during the removal process, some popular channels disappeared, including CuentosFacianantes with 5.9 million subscribers and 1.2 billion views, as well as Imperio de Jesus, which has over 5.8 million subscribers.
Previously, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan had already expressed intentions to combat the spread of low-quality content by applying the existing system to fight spam and clickbait.
In 2025, YouTube also removed channels that published fake movie trailers created by artificial intelligence. Currently, the platform continues its policy of removing misleading and low-quality content.
