As a result of heavy rains, significant puddles have formed in the capital. According to the city administration, the level of precipitation significantly exceeded the norm, which caused problems with water drainage. In this regard, all responsible services have been switched to an enhanced work mode and are working without breaks. Specialists are engaged in cleaning stormwater drains, ditches, and collectors from debris and dirt that hinder normal water drainage. In areas where the situation is most critical, specialized equipment is being used, and constant monitoring of the situation is being carried out. Citizens' requests are being prioritized.
The city authorities also reminded that dumping solid waste into ditches and channels significantly complicates the work of drainage systems and can lead to localized flooding. Residents are urged to adhere to landscaping rules and avoid dumping garbage into water bodies.
