Avalanche threats are noted on sections of the road from 48 to 74 km and from 78 to 81 km, especially in the areas of Maihura and Zideh, located in the Varzob district.
According to the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Republic of Tajikistan, the risk of avalanches is also present in mountainous areas under republican jurisdiction and in the west of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. Additionally, in some parts of the Khatlon region, mudflow phenomena may occur in the coming days due to rain.
Services are warning drivers and local residents about the need to exercise caution when traveling on mountain routes and to take current weather conditions into account.
