
According to the National Statistical Office, Mongolia's gross domestic product for last year amounted to ₮89.9 trillion, which is 11.5% (₮9.3 trillion) more than in 2024.
The increase in GDP was driven by growth in value added across various sectors of the economy: agriculture increased by 36.7% (₮2.2 trillion), services by 11.5% (₮4.1 trillion), and industry and construction by 22.4% (₮2 trillion).
The preliminary estimate of GDP at constant 2015 prices for 2025 was ₮34.3 trillion, which is 6.8% (₮2.2 trillion) more than the previous year.
This year's GDP growth is associated with an increase in value added in agriculture by 33.2% (₮917.8 billion), in industry and construction by 11.4% (₮482.8 billion), as well as in the mining sector and quarrying by 10.6% (₮453.6 billion).
Of the total GDP growth of 6.8%, 2.9% came from agriculture, 1.4% from mining, 1.5% from industry and construction, and 1% from services.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, GDP (preliminary estimate at constant 2015 prices adjusted for seasonal fluctuations, calculated by the production method) showed a growth of 0.7% compared to the previous quarter.
