The Head of the Cabinet summarized the socio-economic development of Bishkek for the year 2025

- The final meeting of the city hall board took place at the "Tunguch" theater, where the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev summarized the socio-economic development of the capital. The press service of the City Hall reported on this event.

The First Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baigonchokov presented the results of the work on the socio-economic development of the city in 2025.

The work of the city hall in 2025 was carried out taking into account the implementation of both state and municipal programs, as well as within the framework of the ongoing ADB. The main efforts were directed towards sustainable economic growth, attracting investments, developing urban infrastructure, and improving management efficiency, especially in the context of urban territory expansion.

Addressing key macroeconomic indicators, it is worth noting that according to the National Statistical Committee, growth over the past five years has tripled. By the end of 2024, the gross regional product of Bishkek reached 744.0 billion soms, corresponding to a growth rate of 115.8%.

In the industrial sector, there has been a growth of 3.6 times over the past five years. In 2025, the city's industrial enterprises produced goods worth 130.4 billion soms, with a physical volume index of 123.1%. The implementation of the "100 Industrial Enterprises - 2025" project played an important role in developing industrial potential, within which 6 new enterprises were opened.

Sustainable growth is also observed in the market services sector, which increased 5.4 times over the past five years. In 2025, the volume of market services in Bishkek amounted to 1 trillion 879 billion 238.3 million soms, which is 114.5% more compared to the previous year.

The consumer price index, which reflects the level of inflation, was 107.8% in 2025 compared to 2024. In the context of market activation, special attention was paid to price stability and the protection of citizens' rights. In this regard, 461 raids were conducted to monitor prices for meat products with the participation of the antimonopoly service and other relevant organizations.

The construction sector also showed significant growth in 2025, serving as an important indicator of investment activity. The volume of gross output in construction increased 2.3 times over the past five years and amounted to 143.5 billion soms, which is 19.7% more compared to the previous year.

The average monthly salary in Bishkek increased 2.4 times over five years. From January to November 2025, it amounted to 54,672.9 soms, increasing by 24.4% compared to the same period in 2024.
