According to the press service, the joint-stock company "Uztemiryulcontainer" is one of the founders of the joint venture UTK International Logistics, which initiated the dispatch of this pilot train along a new route connecting China with Central Asia.
This project represents the practical implementation of agreements on expanding regional partnerships and improving transport links, reached during the meeting of the presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, held in Dushanbe in 2025.
The train consists of eight forty-foot containers containing consumer goods and construction equipment. The total length of the route exceeds 3,500 kilometers, and the estimated travel time is from 18 to 20 days.
According to the information, thanks to the support of logistics initiatives from the joint-stock company "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari," tariff concessions have been introduced for carriers on this multimodal route. This indicates the company's readiness to ensure stable and regular cargo transportation in the direction of China — Central Asia.
It should be noted that in July 2025, the authorities of China organized the first dispatch of a train from Wuhan, Hubei Province, along the route of multimodal international cargo transportation China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan, which contributed to the expansion of the logistics network connecting China with Central Asia.
