In an interview with The New York Post, US President Donald Trump stated that he does not rule out the possibility of sending ground troops to Iran if the need arises.
He noted that the operation called "Epic Fury," initiated after recent attacks on Iranian facilities, is proceeding "on schedule." According to Trump, dozens of high-profile members of Iran's military and political leadership have been eliminated during these operations.
“I’m not saying that ground troops won’t be used. I’m saying that they may not be needed unless the situation requires it,” he added.
