- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed concerns that a protracted war between the U.S. and Israel against Iran could negatively affect arms supplies to Ukraine.
- The Central Bank of Russia reported that on February 27, it filed a lawsuit in the General Court of the EU in Luxembourg challenging the EU Council regulation regarding the indefinite freezing of the bank's assets.
- According to the Financial Times, the EU ambassador to Ukraine, Katarina Maternova, requested to inspect the damaged "Druzhba" pipeline at the office of the President of Ukraine but was denied. This was due to security concerns. - The governor of the Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov, reported that five people were injured as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian drone.
- Russian strikes on energy infrastructure led to power outages in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions of Ukraine.
- As a result of morning shelling on March 3 in the village of Esman in the Sumy region, a local resident aged 48 was killed.
- In the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, casualties were reported after shelling, including a seven-year-old girl who required medical assistance.
- In the Bryansk region of Russia, a residential building was damaged as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones, but there were no casualties.
- Russian troops attacked the Odesa region with drones, resulting in damage to port and transport infrastructure.
- Four people were injured in the Poltava region due to falling debris from drones.
- According to Valeriy Sushkevych, president of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine, Ukrainian Paralympians will not be able to participate in the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games with a map of Ukraine on their uniforms, as the International Paralympic Committee deemed this design "political" and prohibited its use.
