Istanbul Governor Davut Gül reported that nine people are trapped under the rubble. Seven of them have been sent to hospitals, and one person has been rescued from the debris. The search for the remaining individual is ongoing. According to TRT, the condition of those rescued is not critical.
According to local reports, the buildings were very close to each other, and the explosion in one of them caused the neighboring house to collapse. The rescue operation is continuing; however, access to the site is complicated due to the narrow streets and dense construction in the area.
