According to the publication, representatives from Qatar and Oman have begun negotiations with Iran, seeking to achieve a possible ceasefire. Sources cited by The Washington Post claim that these efforts have intensified in light of the understanding that military pressure from the U.S. and Israel will not lead to a quick change of power in Iran.

The newspaper reports that Tehran has expressed a willingness to discuss de-escalation, but only on the condition that Washington and Tel Aviv cease their attacks first.

Additionally, as reported by Axios, the U.S. is also exploring options for resolving the conflict. Iran, according to sources, has been sending signals through intermediaries about its readiness for negotiations, although officials from the country deny the existence of direct contacts with the Americans. Various regional players are reportedly acting as intermediaries.

Meanwhile, hostilities have been ongoing since February 28, and the parties continue to exchange strikes. The conflict affects not only Iran and Israel but also the infrastructure of the Gulf countries.
