The USA deported 44 citizens of Uzbekistan

On the evening of January 21, a charter flight landed in Tashkent with Uzbeks who were deported from the USA.

According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Akhror Burkhanov, 44 citizens who were illegally in the United States returned to their homeland.

He noted that the flight was organized in cooperation with American authorities for the "safe and timely delivery" of citizens of Uzbekistan.

“Work to ensure the safety of our citizens abroad, protect their rights, and facilitate their return home continues,” the spokesperson added.

According to aviation resources, the flight was operated on a Boeing 767−300 by the American charter airline Omni Air International, which also carried out deportations on October 10.

The plane departed from El Paso, Texas, on January 20 at 6:50 local time (18:50 Tashkent time) and landed in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, at 12:30 (22:30 Tashkent time). After that, it took off at 14:43 and arrived in Bucharest, Romania, at 5:33 (8:33) on January 21. Then, at 9:43, the plane departed from Bucharest and landed in Yerevan, Armenia, at 13:39 (14:39). Ultimately, at 15:39 (16:39), it departed for Tashkent, where it landed at 19:21.
