The flight transporting Kyrgyz citizens from Osh to Kuwait City for the purpose of performing Umrah finally departed from Namangan Airport in Uzbekistan after several delays. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

Social media was actively discussing the long wait that Kyrgyz citizens faced in Namangan while awaiting their departure.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Uzbekistan was promptly addressing the issue by coordinating with the administration of Namangan Airport, representatives of Jazeera Airways, and the State Agency for Civil Aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the airline, flight JZR668, scheduled for January 5-6, 2026, was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
On January 6, Kyrgyz citizens were transported by buses to Namangan Airport. However, on the same day and the following day, the flight was postponed again for the same reason. Thanks to the efforts of Jazeera Airways, all passengers were accommodated in a hotel in Namangan.

Only on January 8 did the passengers arrive at the airport again, and at 13:09, the flight finally departed for Kuwait City.
The situation remained under constant control of the Kyrgyz embassy, which maintained communication with the citizens until the issue was fully resolved.
