The negotiations have concluded, but their continuation is scheduled for Saturday, as reported by the BBC.
Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation, noted that the main focus of the meeting was on discussing the conditions for ending Russian aggression and the next steps in the negotiations aimed at achieving a stable and just peace.
In an interview with "Suspilne," a senior representative of the U.S. administration emphasized that the meeting was successful. Umerov also added that on Saturday, General Andriy Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff, and Lieutenant General Vadym Skibitsky, Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, will join the Ukrainian team.
On the American side, the negotiations include figures such as Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, U.S. President's son-in-law Jared Kushner, senior advisor to the new "Council for Peace" Josh Gruenbaum, U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, and NATO Commander in Europe Alexus Grinkevich.
The negotiation process is scheduled for two days.
