On February 2, Kamchybek Tashiev, the head of GKNB, handed over 20 vehicles to improve the transportation base of hospitals in the region, which will help eliminate the shortage of service vehicles.
According to Dosmambetov, the current state of healthcare remains challenging due to outdated infrastructure and buildings. The President of the country is paying attention to this and giving appropriate instructions.
The Minister noted: “Our task is not to limit ourselves to major repairs but to build new buildings. All district and territorial hospitals should be uniform and standardized. Previously, the central office of the Ministry of Health distanced itself from these issues, and chief doctors tried to find funds and develop projects independently, which led to different approaches. Now this needs to be organized.”
Dosmambetov also emphasized that serious reforms are ahead: “I must justify the trust and accomplish the set tasks within 1-2 years,” he added.
