According to him, comprehensive examinations can identify the disease at early stages when therapy is most effective, and the likelihood of complete recovery significantly increases.
The standard preventive check-up includes the following procedures:
- test for Helicobacter pylori infection;
- esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGDS);
- ultrasound examination of organs;
- stool test for hidden blood.
Regular examinations, especially in the presence of risk factors or gastrointestinal complaints, play a key role in maintaining health and preventing serious consequences of oncological diseases.
