
The Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Kanbek Dosmambetov, held a meeting with Mikhail Murashko, his Russian counterpart, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the negotiations, the Kyrgyz side expressed interest in implementing joint projects in the field of high technologies in medicine. In particular, the discussion focused on the creation of a nuclear medicine center in Kyrgyzstan, which will include cyclotron-radiopharmaceutical production.
These initiatives have already been included in the state development plans, and a phased creation of the regulatory framework, signing of necessary agreements, and the start of design work are planned for 2026. It is expected that the work will be completed by 2030.
Additionally, the prospects for cooperation were discussed, including access to technologies, equipment, and expert support, taking into account the mutual interests of both countries.
