According to the information presented at the meeting, the number of new cancer cases in the region continues to increase. This year, 337 new cases of the disease have been registered.
Currently, there are 1,956 people in the region registered with oncological diseases. Experts believe that this situation poses a serious threat to the health of citizens and emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and preventive measures.
In addition, the participants of the board discussed issues related to providing residents with medications. There are 13 pharmacies and 37 pharmacy points operating in the region; however, the lack of pharmacies in the Naryn district is particularly concerning.
It is worth noting that this issue was previously raised in the report for the past 9 months, but it has still not been resolved. Meeting participants emphasized the need for urgent action from state and local authorities to ensure the population has access to affordable medications.
