According to her, this figure is 24 cases lower than in 2024.
The reasons for the cases of infant mortality were distributed as follows:
- perinatal pathology — 76 cases,
- respiratory diseases — 22 cases,
- congenital anomalies — 18 cases,
- other causes — 16 cases,
- infectious diseases — 9 cases.
In addition, in 2025, 10 cases of maternal mortality were registered, which is two cases more than in 2024, Kyshtobaeva noted.
The total population served by medical institutions in the Chui Region is 936,811 people, which is significantly less than the figure for 2024 — 1,054,072 people.
The region has 1,115 doctors and 3,103 medical workers with secondary education.
Gulmira Kyshtobaeva also reported on the recruitment of 157 specialists to medical institutions over the year:
• 13 residents and 14 interns, who received a monthly stipend of 20,000 soms;
• 13 doctors who receive a medical deposit of 66,000 soms;
• 117 specialists, including pediatricians, neonatologists, surgeons, and anesthesiologists-resuscitators, receive monthly compensation payments of 20,000 soms.
