According to the ministry's data, this decision confirms that the control and certification system in Kyrgyzstan meets European Union standards.
The agency emphasized that this opens new opportunities for domestic honey producers, allowing them to expand their market and increase the competitiveness of their products on the international stage.
Previously, attempts were made to enter the European market; however, strict certification requirements prevented the export of Kyrgyz honey.
The Ministry of Agriculture also noted that it will continue efforts to expand the list of Kyrgyz products permitted for supply to the European Union.
