According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, the European Commission has approved a plan for the export of Kyrgyz honey, including it in a special list of technical regulations that allow the import of products into the territory of the European Union.
This decision confirms the compliance of the control and certification system in Kyrgyzstan with the standards established by the European Union.
“The decision made by the European Commission will open new opportunities for Kyrgyz honey producers, increasing their competitiveness in the international arena. Previously, attempts were made to introduce Kyrgyz honey to the European market, but strict certification requirements prevented exports. The Ministry of Agriculture will continue efforts to expand the list of domestic products that have access to the European Union market,” the statement said.
