According to the information from the department, as part of the current project, new drip irrigation systems are being installed on 30 hectares of rain-fed land, which will ensure the efficient use of water resources. The construction of a 15,000 cubic meter regulation pond is also planned.
The land plot has been leased for a period of 5 years through the district agricultural development management. This will create opportunities for long-term planning and sustainable growth in the horticulture sector.
Starting in March, the process of planting seedlings will begin in this area. The use of modern technologies and drip irrigation will optimize water consumption, which is especially relevant in conditions of water scarcity, and will significantly ease the labor of local farmers.
The implementation of modern technologies, supported by the ministry, is aimed at increasing yields, reducing water losses, and ensuring the sustainability of agricultural production. The realization of the project will have a significant impact on the development of horticulture in the Toktogul district and will enhance the financial well-being of local residents.
