As a result of an extraordinary shareholders' meeting held on February 2, OJSC "Aiyl Bank" decided to update its name to "ABank".

Information about this came from the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange. The main aspect of the meeting was the approval of a new version of the charter in connection with the upcoming renaming of the bank.

Shareholders approved the updated charter for OJSC "ABank" and endorsed the necessary steps for re-registration with the state authorities and the justice system of the republic.

After the re-registration is completed, the financial institution will operate under the new name — OJSC "ABank".

It is worth noting that OJSC "Aiyl Bank" was established in 1996 by the government of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the World Bank as the "Kyrgyz Agricultural Finance Corporation" (KAFC). The main goal of KAFC was to provide loans to private farmers and rural producers on a sustainable basis. On December 27, 2006, a resolution was adopted to create OJSC "Aiyl Bank" based on OJSC "Kyrgyz Agricultural Finance Corporation".
