This preferential regime will be in effect until December 31, 2026, and covers a volume of up to 5,000 tons.
The concession applies to the following types of meat:
- fresh and chilled meat products (HS code EAEU 0201);
- frozen meat products (HS code EAEU 0202).
To take advantage of this preference, it is necessary to obtain a document from the authorized body of the member country, which must specify information about the importers, nomenclature, and volumes of supplies.
It is important to note that the imported meat can be used exclusively as raw material for processing at factories. The export of finished products made using this meat to other countries of the union is prohibited.
The EEC hopes that this measure will help meet the needs of the domestic market for quality raw materials, support the processing industry, ensure price stability, and strengthen the food security of the union states.
