
Over the past five years, the local budget of Bishkek has demonstrated impressive growth, increasing by 22.1 billion soms, which is equivalent to a growth of 3.6 times. This was reported by the First Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baigonchokov at the final meeting of the Bishkek City Hall.
According to him, this positive trend indicates a significant strengthening of the financial base and an increase in the capabilities of the local budget.
In 2025, the actual revenues of the local budget amounted to 30.6 billion soms, which is 3.8% higher than the revised plan, or 1.1 billion soms more than expected.

In addition, non-tax revenues amounted to 2.9 billion soms, and targeted transfers totaled 7.3 billion soms.
It is worth noting that the final meeting of the Bishkek City Hall dedicated to the socio-economic development of the capital for 2025 and the tasks for 2026 was held today at the "Tunguch" theater under the leadership of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - the Chief Administrator of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev.
