Kyrgyzstan Has the Highest Growth Rate in Egg Production in the EAEU

- In 2025, Kyrgyzstan demonstrated significant growth in livestock production among the EAEU countries, primarily due to a sharp increase in egg production volumes.

According to preliminary data from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the production volume of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 476.1 thousand tons, which is 3.6% more compared to the previous year. This figure exceeds the average growth in the EAEU, which was 0.2%.

Additionally, in 2025, Kyrgyzstan produced 1,881.5 thousand tons of milk, which is 3.2% more compared to 2024. Meanwhile, the average milk production in the union increased by 1.7%.

The most impressive growth was recorded in poultry farming: egg production in Kyrgyzstan rose to 938.4 million pieces, corresponding to an increase of 18.7% over the year. This is one of the highest growth rates in the EAEU, significantly exceeding the average figure for the union (+4.5%). In 2025, an increase in egg production was observed in all EAEU countries.

Overall, in the EAEU in 2025, the production volume of major livestock products amounted to: 21,391.3 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter (+0.2%), 49,602.3 thousand tons of milk (+1.7%), and 58,788.8 million pieces of eggs (+4.5%).
