During the meeting organized with the participation of Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency, as well as the Deputy Ambassador of Italy to Kyrgyzstan and a representative of the Agency for the Promotion of Italian Companies Abroad, issues related to deepening investment and trade cooperation were discussed. The press service of the agency reported this.
The negotiations presented the results of institutional and regulatory reforms aimed at improving the investment climate in Kyrgyzstan, as well as mechanisms for supporting investors from the state. Attention was paid to key projects in the fields of energy, industry, agro-industrial complex, and infrastructure.
Kyrgyzstan is focused on developing relations with the Italian Republic and welcomes the influx of foreign investments. Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that the state provides reliable protection of investors' rights and guarantees in accordance with current legislation and international obligations. The Republic is open to long-term strategic partners and strives to create the best conditions for doing business.
The inclusion of Kyrgyzstan in the list of 15 priority countries for Italy underscores the high level of trust and strategic interest in developing bilateral cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen partnership and implement joint initiatives.
