Participants discussed opportunities for expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Italy, as well as planning joint events in the B5+1 format. During the conversation, it was noted that including Kyrgyzstan in the list of 15 priority countries for Italy is a testament to the high level of trust and strategic interest in developing bilateral relations.
Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic places great importance on strengthening ties with the Italian Republic and supports the inflow of foreign capital. He noted that reliable guarantees for the protection of investors' rights have been established in the country in accordance with current legislation and international obligations. "We are open to long-term strategic partnerships and are ready to create favorable conditions for doing business," he added.
The National Agency informed the interlocutors about the ongoing reforms in the institutional and regulatory spheres aimed at improving the investment climate, as well as the mechanisms of state support for investors and priority projects in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture, and infrastructure.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to continue strengthening cooperation and implementing joint initiatives.
