He noted that the company "Agrokush" is responsible for about 70% of the region's demand for this product. During negotiations with representatives of the company, Akunbekov urged them to maintain affordable prices for the population.
The minister also pointed out the importance of controlling meat prices, emphasizing that unjustified price hikes are unacceptable. He stressed the need for coordination between local authorities and relevant services to ensure price stability in the domestic market.
An important topic of discussion was the region's dependence on imports, especially from Uzbekistan. Akunbekov called on farmers to increase local production of vegetables and fruits. In his opinion, this is key to providing citizens with quality products at reasonable prices and strengthening the country's food security. As a result of the visit, specific instructions were given to the relevant structures to improve the situation in this area.
