Memorandums in the field of energy signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and companies from India













As part of the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, held on March 21, the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Talaybek Ibraev, held a series of meetings with leaders of leading Indian energy companies, including KEC International Limited, NHPC Limited, NTPC Limited, and CraticAI Services Private Limited. This information was announced by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the discussions, the possibilities for implementing investment projects in the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan were considered, including the development of hydropower capacities, the use of renewable energy sources, the coal industry, and the modernization of energy infrastructure, as well as the introduction of digital and innovative technologies.

As a result of the meetings, two memorandums of understanding were signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and KEC International Limited, as well as with CraticAI Services Private Limited, aimed at developing cooperation and joint projects in the field of energy.

In addition, on March 21, 2026, Minister Ibraev visited a solar power plant owned by NTPC Limited in Noida, where he familiarized himself with the latest technologies for electricity generation, as well as solutions for long-term energy storage and new methods of electricity accumulation.

This visit confirmed Kyrgyzstan's interest in deepening practical cooperation with Indian companies and implementing modern technologies for the sustainable development of the country's energy sector.
