The head of the administration noted that an investment forum has been organized to enhance the tourist attractiveness and development of the region. The event discussed opportunities for improving the tourism, agricultural, and energy sectors, as well as attracting significant investments.
Various investment projects were presented at the forum, which are expected to be implemented in the rural districts of the region. Among them are the creation of a recreation base costing 10 million dollars in Barskoon, the construction of a suspension bridge (асма көпүрө), and the establishment of a fruit storage facility in the Kyzyl-Suy rural district.
Ermek Bakhaevdinov emphasized: “If these projects are implemented, it will lead to the development of the processing industry, the tourism sector, and agriculture, as well as significantly improve the infrastructure of the district. In addition, new jobs will be created, which will expand employment opportunities for the local population.”
The event was attended by both local and international investors who proposed their projects. As a result of the forum, memorandums of cooperation were signed between representatives of local authorities and investors.
The akim believes that the implementation of these initiatives will contribute to the economic growth of the Jeti-Oguz district, improve the living standards of its residents, and strengthen its position as one of the promising destinations for tourism and investment in Kyrgyzstan.
