The agency noted that a video has appeared on social networks claiming that the GTS is conducting the sale of goods. However, representatives of the service stated that this information is not true. Customs authorities do not engage in the sale of goods, whether from temporary storage warehouses or other locations.
Fake documents created in the style of official forms were also discovered. These documents mention "unreleased amounts," "customs duties," and "processing through a broker." The GTS clarified that such documents have no legal force and are not used in their activities.
According to information from the service, the video was created using artificial intelligence technologies and has no relation to the work of customs authorities. The main goal of such materials is to deceive citizens and extract illegal profits.
The GTS strongly recommends that citizens exercise caution, not trust dubious information, and avoid interacting with unknown groups and channels in messengers.
Official notifications are available exclusively on the service's resources. In case of receiving such information, citizens are asked to call: +996 (312) 51 24 67.
