According to forecasts, the republic will need 182.8 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers for agricultural needs by 2026:
- nitrogen – 96.2 thousand tons (this amount will be necessary for the spring fieldwork of 2026);
- phosphate – 71.5 thousand tons;
- potash – 15.2 thousand tons.
As of January 20, 2025, a total of 21.5 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers had been imported into the country.
Currently, private companies engaged in the sale of mineral fertilizers have 19.2 thousand tons of products in their warehouses.
