
The National Bank reported positive dynamics in the banking sector of Kyrgyzstan, which continues to grow. As of November 30, 2025, there are 21 commercial banks and 306 of their branches operating in the country.
Since the beginning of the current year, bank assets have increased by 44.9%, reaching 1 trillion 181.8 billion soms.
The loan portfolio also shows growth — it has increased by 43.6%, amounting to 489.3 billion soms.
Especially noticeable is the growth in the field of Islamic financing: the volume of loans issued according to Islamic principles has increased by 100.8% and reached 18.1 billion soms.
Bank deposits also showed positive results, increasing by 38.8% to 822.4 billion soms.
These figures indicate a growth in trust from the population and businesses, as well as an activation of credit operations, which in turn stimulates the development of the country's economy.
