In 2025, every second Toyota in Russia will be imported through Kyrgyzstan.

According to information posted on the Telegram channel of Sergey Tselikov, the director of the agency "Autostat," by 2025, about 50% of Toyota cars sold in Russia will be imported through Kyrgyzstan.

The number of imported cars has increased by 12% compared to 2024. Most of the new cars are produced in China, while used cars mainly come from Japan.

Over the year, 127.8 thousand Toyota cars were delivered to the Russian market. Of this number, 30.3 thousand were new cars, which is 40% more than the previous year. The remaining 97.5 thousand cars were used, which is also 6% more compared to last year.

More than 80% of all new cars were brought in from China. At the same time, among used cars, only 13.3% were of Chinese production, while 83.5% were of Japanese origin.

Almost half of the new cars (49.8%) were imported through Kyrgyzstan. 33.8% came directly from China, and a small share was brought in from Japan and through countries like Belarus and Georgia.
