The First Deputy Minister, Beknazar Bazaraliev, reported on the implementation of the plan approved by the agency. According to him, it was planned to asphalt 1,092 km of roads by the beginning of 2025; however, as a result of the past year, work was completed on 1,606 km, of which 1,545 km were successfully asphalted.
It is worth noting that there are currently 13 major projects being implemented in the country in the field of road infrastructure.
During the discussion, the deputies expressed concern about the quality of road construction. Deputy Ismanali Joroev emphasized that most projects are financed through loans, and in this regard, it is necessary to strengthen control over the quality of the work performed.
In addition, Deputy Suyunbek Omurzakov proposed to consider the possibility of including the asphalting of the Myrzake—Kara-Kulja—Alaikuu road in the republican budget.
