The methodology allows for a quick assessment of pasture conditions using indicators such as vegetation status, signs of degradation, as well as the presence of weeds and shrubs. According to Kilyazova, evaluating a single pasture area takes only 30–40 minutes, ensuring the accuracy of the data obtained. Research has shown that the pastures in the Susamyr Valley are in satisfactory condition and are characterized by rich vegetation. However, in some areas, there is active spread of the shrub Caragana (altygana), which was initially pointed out by local residents.

Specialists have tested various methods for combating Caragana, including chemical and mechanical approaches. The use of low-toxicity glyphosate-based herbicides on fenced areas has shown good results. Destroying the shrub allows for the preservation of forage vegetation, which can recover within a year, provided that the pasture receives a period of rest. A mechanical method is also used, which involves uprooting the shrub followed by sowing perennial grasses.

The ministry noted that measures to combat Caragana are being carried out carefully to avoid harming the ecosystem. Pastures need to have a predominance of forage grasses, as Caragana hinders free grazing of livestock and poses a safety threat. Continued work in this direction aims to preserve pastures and prevent degradation processes.
