During customs control, it was established that the tenth character of the VIN code ("M") corresponds to the year of manufacture 2021 according to the international standard ISO and the EEC Decision No. 74. However, according to the conclusion of the Forensic Expert Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, this vehicle was actually manufactured in 2015. As a result of the inaccurate declaration, the state suffered damage amounting to 2,484,898 soms.
This fact was registered in the Unified Register of Crimes, and the case materials were transferred to the Investigation Department of the State Customs Service for further legal assessment. As a result of the measures taken, 2,484,898 soms were recovered for the republican budget.
