The EAEU Plans to Stimulate the Consumption of Ferrous Metals in Industrial Sectors

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has announced new priorities for cooperation in the ferrous metallurgy sector within the EAEU.

These recommendations aim to identify relevant directions for further development of joint work in this key industry, taking into account the existing potential for integration.

It is also proposed to create a platform for sharing experiences in areas such as technologies for the extraction and enrichment of ferrous metal ores, as well as supporting low-emission transformation in ferrous metallurgy.

“The adoption of these recommendations will have a positive impact on deepening cooperation in ferrous metallurgy, considering the current development priorities of this sector in EAEU countries,” emphasized the Minister of Industry and Agriculture of the EEC, Goar Barsegyan.
