These recommendations aim to identify relevant directions for further development of joint work in this key industry, taking into account the existing potential for integration.
Among the proposed measures:
- increasing demand for ferrous metals in various sectors of industry,
- exploring opportunities for organizing cooperative supplies of innovative steels from EAEU member countries,
- strengthening cooperation in engineering.
It is also proposed to create a platform for sharing experiences in areas such as technologies for the extraction and enrichment of ferrous metal ores, as well as supporting low-emission transformation in ferrous metallurgy.
“The adoption of these recommendations will have a positive impact on deepening cooperation in ferrous metallurgy, considering the current development priorities of this sector in EAEU countries,” emphasized the Minister of Industry and Agriculture of the EEC, Goar Barsegyan.
