According to the Ministry of Labor, the center has successfully employed over 5,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan in South Korea over its 18 years of operation, thanks to cooperation with the Ministry of Labor of that country under a memorandum. Currently, more than 1,500 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are working under the EPS program in South Korea.
The largest number of citizens are employed in the manufacturing industry, particularly in:
- food;
- chemical;
- paper;
- the production of plastic, rubber, and glass products.
The average income is $1,700, while living and food expenses are fully or partially covered by the employer.
It should be noted that the main requirement for participation in the EPS program is a sufficient level of proficiency in the Korean language.
The center continues to actively work on expanding employment opportunities for citizens of Kyrgyzstan abroad and enhancing their competitiveness in the international labor market.
