During operational activities organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan in cooperation with American agencies, a citizen identified as Ы.М. was arrested. He had been on international wanted list since 2023. He was sought based on a "red notice" for large-scale fraud under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ы.М. acted in collusion with A.Ч., who held a managerial position in an organization engaged in the sale of petroleum products. Together, they committed the theft of 1536.51 tons of fuel oil, amounting to a total of 51,780,387 soms.
Currently, Kyrgyz authorities are working on the extradition of the detained individual to hold him criminally accountable.
At present, eight citizens wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan for various crimes are being held in HSI (ICE) detention centers, awaiting deportation procedures. Of this number, three have already been deported back to Kyrgyzstan.
