According to data collected by the employees of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, a criminal group led by I.T. organized a series of illegal actions related to the registration of vehicles arriving from neighboring countries based on forged documents. These actions were carried out with the help of employees from the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing under the Presidential Administration, who facilitated the fictitious entry of data into registration databases and vehicle accounting, using fake certificates and registration documents.
The investigation also revealed the involvement of employees from the Bishkek city department of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing in the mentioned crimes. In particular, the illegal registration of vehicles involved chief specialist S.D. and specialists K.U. and U.A., born in 1997.
As a result of operational and investigative measures, it was established that 244 listeners were registered through one intermediary, and as a result of illegal activities, 2,760,850 soms were obtained. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 379 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and three citizens have been detained.
All detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility, and the court has imposed a one-month imprisonment sentence on them. The investigation is ongoing, and necessary investigative actions are being conducted to uncover all circumstances and hold all guilty parties accountable.
