Three employees of the state center for vehicle registration have been detained in Bishkek, reports the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.
Earlier, during operational activities, a criminal group was identified that was engaged in the production of fake certificates of completion from driving schools. Directors of private driving schools, known as B.T. and M.A., illegally received amounts ranging from 40,000 to 120,000 soms through intermediary I.T. for fictitious training. These criminals registered people on the government portal and issued them fake documents without conducting actual training. As a result of their actions, 244 people were enrolled through one intermediary, and they illegally earned 2,760,850 soms.
Based on the collected materials, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 379 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. Three members of the criminal group have been detained.
The investigation has established that this criminal group, led by I.T., organized the illegal registration of vehicles that came from neighboring countries based on fake documents. These actions were made possible by the complicity of employees of the State Center for Vehicle Registration, who ensured the fictitious entry of data into registration databases and the registration of vehicles using fake certificates.
The involvement of employees of the Bishkek City Department of the State Center, including chief specialist S.D. and specialists K.U. and U.A., in these illegal actions regarding the registration of vehicles has also been confirmed.
All of the mentioned individuals have been detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Kyrgyzstan and placed in a temporary detention facility. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of one month.
The investigation into this case is ongoing.
