The State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan reported on the fact of illegal privatization of the daily regulation reservoir (DRR) belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture. This facility is located in the Issyk-Ata district of the Chui region.
Information: During the Soviet era, daily regulation reservoirs were created to provide agricultural lands with the necessary amount of irrigation water. Their main purpose is to accumulate water during periods of surplus (for example, in winter or during rains) and use it in dry times.
According to the transfer act dated November 30, 1999, this DRR was illegally transferred to the balance of the cooperative "Pakhary." Later, in 2021, based on decision No. 28 of the head of the Ivanovsky ayil okmotu of the Issyk-Ata district, the reservoir was registered as the property of the SPC "Pakhary," after which a state certificate of private ownership was obtained.
As a result of the conducted operational-investigative measures, this illegally privatized facility was returned to state ownership and is now registered under the Issyk-Ata Water Management Department, which is part of the Ministry of Agriculture.
