Mark Zuckerberg, the famous American billionaire and entrepreneur, is considering moving to Miami. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg. According to the publications, he may become part of a group of wealthy businessmen choosing Florida as their new residence due to the absence of state income tax.

Zuckerberg, according to sources, has shown interest in real estate on the artificial island of Indian Creek in Biscayne Bay, known as the "billionaires' bunker" due to the high concentration of wealthy owners.

According to information from the brokerage firm Jills Zeder Group, among the property owners on this island are well-known figures such as Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former NFL quarterback Tom Brady. Ivanka Trump, daughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, also resides on Indian Creek with her husband Jared Kushner.

As reported by the Wall Street Journal, Zuckerberg has already purchased a mansion on Indian Creek, which covers an area of approximately 8,000 square feet, with the deal estimated to be valued between $150 million and $200 million.

The publication links Zuckerberg's decision to buy property in Florida to recent changes in California's tax legislation. Since January 1 of this year, California has introduced an additional 5% tax for wealthy individuals, while Florida has no state income tax.
