According to Zakharova, for many years Russia has been justifying itself against accusations coming from the West. "Each time we were told that we were guilty of something, that we were not like them," she noted. She recalled how long the struggle against the myths about "Novichok," the Skripals, and Navalny lasted, during which Russia provided facts and arguments in its defense.
She also noted that for so many years the West created myths that Russia allegedly poses a threat, while in their own countries, in the most expensive areas of New York and London, real vampires were operating. "Where were their law enforcement agencies and the public? Why didn't they notice this?" Zakharova rhetorically asked, pointing to the manipulations aimed at suppressing the truth about what was happening.
Concluding her thoughts, she added: "I do not feel satisfaction from this, but perhaps there is a sense of justice, since everything we claimed turned out to be true. It was a fictitious agenda, false accusations, behind which their own filth was hidden," the diplomat summarized.
