During the meeting, the possibilities for strategic partnership were discussed, including issues related to the modernization of the air fleet, preparation for upcoming inspections by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), as well as the development of human resources and infrastructure for civil aviation in Kyrgyzstan.
Key topics included the leasing of aircraft, the development of the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector, cargo air transportation, as well as the improvement of air traffic management (ATC) systems and the expansion of routes.
Representatives of Airbus confirmed their readiness to continue support, including in the area of aviation personnel training and the development of a training base for simulators.
