A contract has been signed for the construction of a new wastewater treatment facility in the Chui agro-industrial zone.

The project is being implemented in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 1057-T and is a key element of the comprehensive development of this zone, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The facility will provide modern wastewater treatment, which will reduce the negative impact on the environment and create opportunities for deep processing of livestock products such as meat, leather, gelatin, and by-products.

As specified by the Ministry of Agriculture, the strategic coordinator of the project is JSC "Kyrgyz Agroholding." The customer is the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Wastewater Management under the Ministry of Agriculture, and the contractor will be the Chinese company China Road, which will carry out the design, supply of equipment, installation, and construction work.

The implementation of the project will strengthen the infrastructure of the zone, enhance production safety, ecological sustainability, and investment attractiveness.
