The press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry reported the signing of a contract for the construction of a complex of treatment facilities in the Chui agro-industrial zone.
This project is being implemented in accordance with a decree from the Cabinet of Ministers and is part of a broader program for the development of the zone.
According to available data, the complex will provide modern wastewater treatment, which will reduce environmental impact and create opportunities for deep processing of livestock products such as meat, leather, gelatin, and offal.
OAO "Kyrgyz Agroholding" has been appointed as the strategic coordinator of this project, while the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Wastewater Management of the Ministry of Water Resources is the client for the construction. The contracting work will be carried out by China Road, which will handle design, equipment supply, installation, and construction.
The ministry is confident that the implementation of this project will strengthen the region's infrastructure, enhance production safety, and improve environmental sustainability, which, in turn, will make the zone more attractive for investment.
